Been a fun day here at @ncmmsp for day 2 of the @driveautox series! Last normal laps finished up and now time for the shootout after lunch break!

Having an absolute blast out here for the 3rd round of @driveautox! The course is very fast so the little Miata has nothing for the straights! But in the corners still doing good! New tires feel great! We shall see where I end up once the day is over! Thanks again to @racingbyrds @summitracing @optimabatteries for such a great event!

Today it’s time to head north to @ncmmsp for the 3rd East Coast round of @driveautox with the Miata! Here’s a great shot @mross_photos got at the last round of the car with BOTH rear wheels off the ground! Was a fun course and super excited to see what the @racingbyrds put together on the NCM skid pad! The Miata has some “light weight” modification done to it and a brand new set of @falkentire 660+ for the weekend thanks to Eric Alghren! Hope the car does good this weekend against some fun competition in the GTC class! I got this shot as Angela went across the finish line on the Sunday course at the @nashvillesuperspeedway @driveautox event! One person who has been dominating the East Coast rounds of the @driveautox is @mbheinz89 in his Nova! Mike is really dialed in with the car and it shows out on course! Here’s another shot from the last @driveautox event that @mross_photos got of me out on course looking like I was ready for take off! The bump certainly was a rough one but the car handled the abuse well! Now with new @falkentire RT660+ tires I should be all set for the next round at NCM in one week! One place that’s always been a great place for events over the last recent years is @nashvillesuperspeedway! The track has been a place where I’ve been to a bunch of events and been on the whole track from a track drive in the C10 to all of the autocross laps on the road course sections and in the infield lot in the Miata! This is a shot from the most recent event during @driveautox! Can’t wait to be back later this year for some fun!

It’s always a great time at events when it’s spent with people you enjoy being around! It’s been a lot of fun and so enjoyable to go to the @driveautox events this year with @slick68chev @binamarina97 and having @mollyross119 come on the last one and be set to come with on the next ones! Two very different vehicles but it’s not about what you drive at all and these events are a great example of that! One car that always stands out and is great to see at events is the small block Chevy powered 1973 Corvette of @chris.mulberry.3gun! Chris came to the second East Coast round of @driveautox to drive hard and leavenothing on the table! Chris shows how good dedication and hard work to continually improve the same vehicle really pays off!
