Got to curate and host a special edition of @livingroom.session at @brxhousetheatre last week as part of their UPRISING season. This was Living Room Session 8, and this time we explored the human body as an archive through different artistic expressions — with the most beautiful lineup including @myah.jeffers @jennnkiru @damsel.elysium and Dr. Aditi. I’m truly inspired by every single artist I get to work with for these sessions, and this time was no exception. Thank you all so much for making us learn, feel, think, relate, wonder and so much more.
Much love to @them___ones and @tobikyere for inviting me to be part of the Sonics of Rebellion programming and the UPRISING season as a whole — being among so many other wonderful artists and curators!! And lastly thanks to our beautiful audience!

Extremely grateful and once again in awe of the amazing artists who contributed to the 10th edition of @livingroom.session
For this edition, the subject was Transforming Ways of Seeing, and it has been such a gift to learn and unlearn by curating, collaborating and being in conversation for the session. One of my favourite parts is seeing how deeply connected the work of all the artists I invite truly is, and this edition once again felt beautifully aligned with a sonic lecture by @aishaodera, followed by a spoken reflection in performance by @b.a.s.d.e.w and the performance of Ochtenddauw by @dianasax and @vainergill.
It has also been amazing to look back at 10 editions of being transformed by all the wonderful reflections of the artists I’ve had the chance to invite to perform or contribute to this curatorial framework aka my metaphorical living room, which continues to be shaped by those who enter. A fraction of it has been physically archived in the first Living Room Session publication, brining together the ten artworks artists have created for each edition, functioning as a visual entry point to each session and its subject.
Thank you to everyone who joined and/or returned! Special thanks to @felixmeritisamsterdam for having us @zoejanice for spinning after the program and @akadrestudio for capturing the evening so beautifully!
More to come xx

We’re excited to announce the 10th edition of Living Room Session, taking place on April 24 at Felix Meritis.
This edition explores Transforming Ways of Seeing: As we change over time, so do our relationships to people and spaces. A room or environment may remain the same, but the way we perceive and move through it shifts. Sometimes we grow into a space, sometimes we grow beyond it.
Join us for an evening guided by curator and moderator Shaquille Shaniqua Joy @madeby8 as artists explore the subject through their respective artistic practices, featuring a sonic lecture by A’isha Odera @aishaodera, a spoken reflection in performance by J. G. Basdew @b.a.s.d.e.w and the performance of Ochtenddauw by Diana Dzhabbar @dianasax and Vainergill Thurnim @vainergill
Read more about the subject and artists of this edition, and get your tickets through the link in bio 💌

A little throwback to the last Living Room Session, with curator and moderator Shaquille Shaniqua Joy opening the evening and giving more context to the concept behind the series.
We’re excited to announce the 10th edition of Living Room Session! Our next edition will take place on April 24 at Felix Meritis in Amsterdam. Keep an eye out for more soon.
About Living Room Session
Living Room Session is a recurring live program set in a metaphorical living room where different artistic practices meet. Each edition brings together artists who explore a shared subject through their own medium. The subjects are both deeply personal and universally resonant. During recent editions we explored the human body as an archive and the act of reimagining.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
