MAKE RUNNING
DISCOMFORT IS A FEATURE. NOT A BUG.
Editorial from the edges, born in the desert alongside @thespeedproject.
In recent years, leading relay teams at LALV divert from the provided route, going off-road and outpacing race coverage until their arrival at the finish.
This year, a reporting team embedded at the front of the pack to follow the chase for a new record. As the miles flew by, a pace breaking group of teams emerged, attacking LALV unlike anything we’d ever seen.

In October 2025, @bielruns ran at the IAU 24 Hour World Championships in Albi, France: a single 1500m loop on repeat.
Where will the TSP athlete take his search for the edge?

The Radical Equity Program [REP] attempted to address the barriers and challenges inherent in The Speed Project for Women and Non-Binary SOLO runners, with the goal of achieving gender equity on the startline of LALV 2025.
During the eight months leading up to the race, we held workshops and open discussions, shared resources, heard from experts and allies, overcame barriers, faced challenges, stood up for ourselves and for each other. We learnt, we educated and we ran.
Visibility alone is not enough to create real change, but is an important part of the work: everybody’s story deserves to be told. REPZINE VOL.1 is a 90-page a5 magazine of ideas, reflections and conversations, made by 51% of the LALV 2025 SOLO startline.

Make Running Presents: 3NGRAV3D
A film by @klawsss
In March 2025, @graverunners became the first Run Crew from New Zealand to compete in @thespeedproject LALV, an unsanctioned 550km relay race from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Six runners, five support crew, one RV, one Jeep, and 51 hours on foot. As this event unfolded, we documented every step of the way. Kayle Lawson, armed with multiple cameras, captured 5,000 photos and 3 hours of video footage. This was no small feat.

Make Running presents IN THE BELLY OF THE WHALE
A film by @embracetheworldfilm
IN THE BELLY OF THE WHALE is a story about challenging oneself to accomplish something that seems impossible.
Setting your mind to do and finish something hard is much more than the physical pain.
This experience acts as a journey, where the layers of ultra running reveal a deeper look into the human soul.
The documentary follows René Claußnitzer on his ambitious 500km, unsupported, solo running race from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. A thin red line between feeling alive and brutal suffering -and eventually reconnecting to the love for running again.
To ensure the solo unsupported spirit and experience of the journey, this film was entirely filmed from a mountain bike during 5 days and nights on the way to Las Vegas.
With the goal to capture a raw and real adventure as it really happened.

Make Running presents HERO
A film by @oolamigoke.
Featuring @tommie_runz:
The film drops 12/5 at 5pm ET on YouTube! Set a reminder at the link in profile (https://youtu.be/Ql4HYBgZrCI)
340 miles. 6 days. A story I never planned to tell… but one I had to live.
This film follows my solo run from LA to Vegas … the highs, the breakdowns, the desert, the healing, and the friends who carried me through miles I couldn’t carry alone.
It’s more than a running film. It’s recovery, grief, purpose, and choosing to keep moving when everything in you says stop. It’s a reminder that no matter where you’re starting from… you can become the hero of your own story.
Can’t wait to share this with you all. Set your reminder.
Premieres Friday at 5pm ET.
Let’s watch this one together.
- Tommie Runz

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
