First time Wardrobe Department Head here, and styled scripted by @bakermovies , my job is to put @michelleyeoh_official into 5 Malaysian women roles (the singer, the critic, the hawker, the vlogger, the waitress). Michelle all in Self-Portrait but characterized in Melayu (Malay) style, only the Malaysian know.
1/ Michelle Yeoh is The Vlogger: yes the platform shoes is a must whether it’s your fashion or not.
2/ Michelle Yeoh is The Critic: the cat-eye shaped reading glasses sourced from an old optical shop in Penang.
3/ Michelle Yeah is The Waitress: the choker, leather bracelets and chain belt to make her fashion statement within the foodcourt.
4/ Michelle Yeoh is The Hawker: the “tudung” (head-scarf) and floral printed apron from the legendary MYDIN, very artificial looking color and prints but on point. The Bata slippers that Malaysian mommies love.
5/ Michelle Yeah is The Singer: the plastic orchid as Malaya headpiece; the fringed bolero made from a Self-Portrait dress by the man @mrselfportrait himself; the award-winning hair wig by @xuyouhua.
Bringing you here on SANDIWARAFILM.COM the truly Malaysia colors.

To Sandiwara: Not an Academy Award-winning speech here but definitely an Academy Award-winning experience.
The concept of home coming to our Tanah Air (homeland) Malaysia, Han’s real home Penang was a fascinating one. Not the first time working on @mrselfportrait project, but everytime a new challenge. Styled scripted by Academy Award-winning filmmaker @bakermovies (Anora), the five Malaysian women characters portrayed by real Malaysian Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh @michelleyeoh_official, her Melayu (Malay) accent, her Melayu (Malay) fashion, her Malayu (Malay) attitude, only the Malaysian know.
She then was in a bold, immersive celebration of womanhood, cultural identity, culinary heritage and the spirit of independent cinema.
Sandiwara, a Self-Portrait Residency Film, the short film written, directed, shot and edited by Academy Award–winning filmmaker Sean Baker (Anora) all in iPhone (easy to move around in narrow Penang streets), set against the vibrant backdrop of Penang, Sandiwara stars our Malaysian Academy Award-winning actress Michelle Yeoh. Thank you for showing me my colorful Tanah Air (Homeland) from another perspectives, and now we are here showing you our Home.
Sandiwara’s Wardrobe Department Head signed off.

The story of a city is, ultimately, the story of its people.
These 28 creators embody a microcosm of China’s contemporary creative community, offering the Chinese answer to a shared future.
Like countless creators hidden within the fabric of everyday life, they weave the capillaries of Chinese creativity through personal narratives, driving a quiet yet profound force of transformation that reshapes the spiritual core of the metropolis. This is our contemporary response to the question of “What makes China?”: innovation through inheritance, transcendence through dialogue, and a vision that offers the world a Chinese approach grounded in cultural depth and oriented toward the future.
Not a typical September Issue cover, from us to the world.
Thank you everyone involved, on and off the cover.

This is a cover about the hand—a symbol of creation, self-control, recognition, and craftsmanship.
It’s also a metaphor for what the hand holds: drifting mist, a story yet to take shape, or a kind of judgment in motion.
His hand, his gaze—somewhere between concealment and exposure—he completes yet another self-portrait.
This is Jackson Yee (Yi Yang Qianxi), approaching his 25th, appearing on his sixth T Magazine China cover.
The original concept didn’t center around “the hand.” But I wanted something alluring—on the runway, boys are all a little flamboyant—so he moves, gesturing, dancing. (Thanks to Zeng Wu, to Zhang Minghu who first worked with Qianxi, and to Xu, his longtime friend, who helped bring that sense of elegance to life.)
Personally, I’ve always loved the hand—its power of creative, its ability to grasp and manipulate objects. Even in a state of not speaking, not seeing, not hearing, the hand continues to make, to shape something real and concrete.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
