“Jakob Kudsk Steensen on Non-Human Pathways” by Peter Bauman @monkantony with @jakob_kudsk_steensen
Virtual worldbuilding artist Jakob Kudsk Steensen speaks with Peter Bauman about the centrality of fieldwork and process to his practice. They discuss archiving vanishing environments in virtual worlds, the play between structure and daydream in his creative process and the embodied sensibility behind Steensen’s slow, textured approach to digital worldbuilding. An exhibition of his work, Otherworlds, is on view at Phi @phi.officiel (Montreal) through September 13, 2026.

“Avery Singer on the Dopamine Blowout” by Peter Bauman @monkantony
Painter Avery Singer @thoughtsondeck is exhibiting a new canvas, Vanessa (2026), at the Protocol Art show, Strange Rules, in Venice. The artist spoke with Peter Bauman about her accidental path to painting and the recent integration of custom AI workflows into her practice. They discuss slop aesthetics, the dopamine blowout of contemporary image consumption, and how Baudrillard’s theories of spectacle inform Singer’s long use of technology to interrogate the changing nature of image production.

“The Cerebral Samba: Protocol Art, Worldbuilding & Our Two Brains” by Peter Bauman @monkantony
Might we experience reality itself as a protocol and world in a divided brain? Bauman argues protocol art and worldbuilding externalize the brain’s two halves: the protocolic urge to formalize reality into rules and the worlding urge to inhabit it as an open, living environment. Bauman investigates in the midst of a transatlantic dialogue on systems in art between Strange Rules alongside @labiennale and @rhizomedotorg’s 7x7 during New York @friezeofficial Week.

“Shohei Fujimoto on Remembering Space” by Peter Bauman @monkantony with @shohei_fujimoto
Data artist Shohei Fujimoto produces site-specific, data-driven perceptual installations. The artist spoke with Peter Bauman about the primitive structures underlying human perception, how the body remembers space, and whether simulated realities can ever fully replicate physical experience. Fujimoto is exhibiting at Personal Structures in Palazzo Mora alongside the Venice Biennale (May 9–November 22, 2026).

“Jane Veeder on Loving Change” by Copper Giloth @coppergilothstudio & Peter Bauman @monkantony
Veeder (@jane.veeder) began her career in electronic media arts in 1976 and became a member of the pioneering Chicago computer graphics community and EVL. Her computer-animation Montana (1982) is part of MoMA’s video collection. Veeder spoke with her longtime friend from the Chicago new media scene, Copper Giloth, as well as Peter Bauman. They cover Veeder’s path from ceramic sculpture to analog video with Phil Morton to real-time computer animation. Veeder’s interactive experiments on the Zgrass machine’s repurposed video game hardware anticipated by decades the game-engine-driven world-building that now anchors major museum collections and biennials.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
