@omcghee spoke candidly about the most important lessons he has learned in the music business: “Don’t talk too much,” and “Know your craft.” Orlando credited @dalethian and @uwondacarter for helping to prepare him to be great at negotiating deals. During his visit to @heyjaneepodcast @omcghee shared his recent prostate cancer journey. He revealed that it was another friend’s diagnosis that led to him getting tested and his own diagnosis that spurred other friends to seek testing. Ultimately 6 out of 10 of his music industry friends would find themselves battling the disease. We hope Orlando’s transparency will encourage more Black men to get tested!
