EX LIBRIS 🫆 Dave Huismans presents ex_libris. The man behind A Made Up Sound and 2562 returned last year as ex_libris, ushering in some of his finest productions to date, immersive strands of leftfield house and off-the-grid grooves that blew us away recently at Rewire festival in Den Haag.

EOMAC AND SAINT ABDULLAH 🌀 Iranian-Canadian brothers Mohammad and Mehdi Mehrabani-Yeganeh unite with Irish producer Ian McDonnell in a transcontinental collaboration bridging cultural and geographical divides. “We exist to test the revolutionary possibilities within sound and sonic storytelling, as a means to finding a vision of the future and for building cultural dialogue today.”

ROSANNA 💥 🌹💥

Rosanna is a Dublin based DJ with a preference for vinyl who we reckon has been flying under the radar for too long now. She is a resident for Wrong Channel, Scart Broadcasting Systems night and has supported Rob Hall for Time in Body along with playing for Deep Sea Dweller and Takeover Records. Expect Banger Cliff to get up-ended by some techno, electro, bass and breaks.

BARRELLING 🛢️🥁🛢️

Barrelling is a sometimes solo, sometimes group project of Jason McNamara - street performer, founder of squiggling records, and collaborator/drummer with many artists including Acid Granny, Lullahush, Jessie Thompson, Earthslayer, Cara Coyle, The Belvedere Torso, Stella & The Dreaming, Ben Bix, Muckno and a long list of others.

Live drums and electronics are used for barrelling shows, where improvised plunderphonic techno, drone dance, cosmic cassette loops, live radio sampling, glitched out hiphop instrumentals, Brazilian rhythms, breakbeats and punkjazz freakouts are all possibilities.

Still in the early stages of figuring out what it even is, barrelling has independently released 7 albums and 2 singles since it began at the end of 2024, appearing on a bill alongside Mantua & Anenome. Although most live performances have been outdoors and unprogrammed, (see "Street Tape One") barrelling has also performed at EVA Limerick and at underground Dublin spaces like Daylight, Anseo and Teach Tabac.

✨ ATLANTIS ATLAND ✨

AtLantis AtLand is a large-scale, site-specific operatic performance devised for Silver Strand beach as a collaged soundscape of live and processed vocal sounds, electronics, and field recordings taken on Sherkin Island. It is inspired by Maya Deren's 1944 experimental film At Land — a dream-like meditation on identity, landscape, and the body washed ashore. In this hydrofeminist work, immersive incantations sweep like the incoming tide, with siren songs and radio signals woven into the rocky shore’s ancient landscape.

AtLantis AtLand is co-created and devised by @col0ratura @jessepresleyjones & @electromacd with scenography and design by Sara Murphy, costumes by @alisonconneely and movement advice by @paul.michael.henry . It is performed by soprano Stephanie Lamprea, electronic musician Alistair MacDonald, and the Sherkin Tonal Choir. The work emerged from field work and a sound workshop on Sherkin for islanders and students from the BA programme through experimentation with objects and tonal recording based on the practice of Pauline Oliveros. AtLantis AtLand features originally composed music by Stephanie Lamprea and Alistair MacDonald, existing compositional material by Pauline Oliveros, Jason Eckardt, and @kurt_of_bernal_hill , and texts by Federico García Lorca and @donnamasini

OE26 Commission: ATLANTIS ATLAND

AtLantis AtLand is a staged operatic work devised for Silver Strand beach as a collaged soundscape of live and processed vocal sounds, electronics, and field recordings taken on Sherkin Island. 

In this hydrofeminist work, immersive incantations sweep like the incoming tide, with siren songs and radio signals woven into the rocky shore’s ancient landscape.

The work emerged from field work and a sound workshop on Sherkin for islanders and students from the BA programme through experimentation with objects and tonal recording based on the practice of Pauline Oliveros.  AtLantis AtLand features originally composed music by Stephanie Lamprea and Alistair MacDonald, existing compositional material by Pauline Oliveros, Jason Eckardt, and Kurt Rhode, and texts by Federico García Lorca and Donna Masini. 

This work is a part of a larger ongoing collaboration between Jesse Jones, Stephanie Lamprea, and Alistair MacDonald, which include the films:  Mirror Martyr Mirror Moon, and The White Cave which premiered in 2025 at the Singapore Biennale. AtLantis AtLand is the third iteration in this ongoing collaboration, culminating in a vinyl record due for release in 2027.  

AtLantis AtLand is co-created and devised by Stephanie Lamprea, Jesse Jones and Alistair MacDonald with scenography and design by Sara Murphy, and costumes by Alison Conneely. It is performed by soprano Stephanie Lamprea, electronic musician Alistair MacDonald, and the Sherkin Tonal Choir.

As the founder of Apartment Records, he’s built a label with a proper cult reputation, putting out left-field electronic releases, deep dancefloor material, and oddball gems, always driven by taste over trends.

He learned to DJ on the same type of turntables Theo Parrish did, but thats just an excuse to name drop. Expect deep selections, curveballs, and a set that can go anywhere, dance music with everything in between.

JAY GALLIGAN 🌝 👥 🌝

A key figure in the burgeoning Irish techno underground since the 00’s, Jay Galligan brings a remarkable knowledge of his selection to the floor by applying a forensic mixing ability with unbelievable momentum whilst moving through the tunes.

Originally involved in Dublin’s crucial Electric City & TEST parties and now a resident for The Probe in his adopted home of Bristol, Jay has carved out a sound intersecting somewhere between the recent past and far future - nail biting techno machinery rucks with future-shock electro, evoking everything from the close ceilings of Tresor to the depths of a Drexiyan submarine.

ANNA CLOCK 🌹🕰️🌹

Anna Clock is a musician and sound artist whose solo music projects blend cello, field recordings and electronics, blurring the lines between sound, noise and music and inviting the audience to listen to their environment in new ways. Their latest EP UMBRA was released on Fort Evil Fruit to critical acclaim. The label describes: ‘Between sinewy cello and rumbling vocals, we are invited to eavesdrop on intimate domestic scenes and the steps of a solitary dancer. The hum of waves dragging over rocks and leaves wilting in the rain draws us into an assured quietude, contrasting with moments of fury and ecstasy.
