‘Bucky is a small album with big heart and even bigger hooks. It’s honest, funny, beautifully produced and frequently surprising.’

We’ll be celebrating on the 6th of November at @thejamjar_bristol with an all star line up of some of Bristols finest musicians and old friends alongside the incredible @pigeonwigs

We have released this record independently and it has been a true labour of love

There are Vinyl + tees on sale for all you real ones from our band camp and you can listen to it pretty much anywhere online

Huge thanks to everyone involved. Its honestly been one of hardest things seeing this through and getting it out but I’m so glad we have.

Trying to convey music through social media is something I’ve really struggled with so please make sure you give this a listen and don’t just watch the 15 second clips we sometimes post :)

The guy in pic is @ryan_of_the_rogers who also played a massive part in producing this album.

The picture was taken by @pughtube on his old Rolleichord

The design was finalised by @marc_bessant_design

The music was Mixed by @johnloganaudio and mastered by @jasonmitchellmastering at @loudmastering

Good afternoon everyone! We have some gig news and an announcement for you.

The gig news: we hope that many of you are able to join us on Saturday July 25th for a special show at our spiritual home of @windmill_hill_city_farm . The announcement is that we will be making an album!

The City Farm gig will be to mark the launch of a Crowdfunder campaign for our debut album, entitled “Folk, as in People”.

Since we started gigging again last autumn we have created a collection of songs we feel proud to have written and privileged to perform, and it only feels right to take them into the studio to give them the love and permanence we feel they deserve. Times are tough for the arts, so we are calling on the generosity of “folk” to help us make this album a reality, allowing our songs to be shared with anyone who might enjoy them.

“Folk, as in People” is the best phrase we could find to describe how the values of kinship, community, solidarity, and hope have influenced our creative perspectives. We intend for people to find meaning and resonance in what we sing about, and hope that our expressions of things such as grief, rebirth, passion, and pause can further help build connection, understanding, and strength between us. Folk as a synonym of people, Folk which lies within people, Folk which is made by people, etc..

Tickets are live now on Headfist (bio), Anything once costs have been covered will be used to kickstart the Crowdfunder. We recommend £10+ for a ticket, but they can be bought on a “Pay What You Can” basis.

Joining us at the farm will be the wonderful Charlie Fitz of @oswaldslain . We are huge huge Slain fans, you can always find at least two of us dancing down the front when they are rocking out somewhere in town, so we’re thrilled to have them on the bill for some fine, fine tunes.
