A selector and record dealer with a long-standing connection to the deeper end of dance music, Matt is known for his deep and patiently crafted sets, built through years of digging and an uncompromising approach to sound.

From his long-running DeepSystems radio shows through to appearances at festivals such as Freerotation and Field Maneuvers, alongside more intimate parties such as Nothing To Hide at The Lion & Lamb, Matt has quietly built a reputation as one of the underground’s most respected selectors.

Looking back at last March’s sauna gatherings — slow afternoons of heat, cold water, blue skies, and good company 🌞

We’re deeply grateful to @hellosunshinesauna for trusting us with their sauna for that first pop-up of 2025 — helping us create the space to explore, gather, and begin imagining what warma could become in Birmingham 🌆

This day helped shape our vision for warma — creating space for grounding, connection, and a shared ritual. A place to pause, reset, and reconnect — with yourself and with others.

We’re excited to bring that feeling back this Sunday, 31st May, as we begin our regular weekly sauna sessions in our new spot ✨

Good news from the Pan

We’re offering a FREE workshop aimed at composers, musicians and sound artists who’d like to explore using spatial in their practice, generously funded by @aceagrams

♦️Sun 24th May
♦️Pan-Pan
♦️10-5pm

This session will be led by electroacoustic composer and sound artist Brona Martin.

The workshop will provide participants with an introduction to spatial audio workflows using Reaper digital audio workstation and with the Ambisonics spatial audio format.

Check the Pan-Pan website for more information, including what to bring on the day. Spacers are limited to 10 participants, so book now to guarantee a place.

20 years of Flatpack Festival and things are getting strange.

This Wednesday, Pan Pan hosts DEEP SOUP — part participatory film, part physical intelligence experiment.

Created by Luna Maurer and Roel Wouters, the project asks:
what happens if intelligence learns from physical matter instead of human data?

The “soup” has been trained on thousands of clips of objects:
breaking.
rolling.
floating.
sinking.
falling apart.

And now you can feed it.
