Bangkok after dark has two speeds – quiet enough to hear temple bells or loud enough to shake a car park wall. Somewhere between those extremes sits the city’s underground, a scene stitched together with sweat, makeshift speakers and the occasional police raid.
One crew making sure it keeps moving is @kangkao_. Their nights are deliberately rough around the edges – vinyl-led, unpolished, with music bleeding into art and clothes in ways that feel natural rather than staged.
Behind it all are brothers @payuvb and @lovefromjakrin. From the booth, they’ve been shaping the sound and pushing things forward. When we met them at Trinity Complex – the same spot where their Halloween set got cut short last year – they were laidback, funny and far more open than DJs usually are.
