From trash to art is at the core of my work.
I like to leave the waste mostly untouched so you can really see and understand the sculpture.
I've always wanted my artwork to be understood without any additional text.
It's always about our impact on the natural world, but I reverse it in a hopeful and colorful way.
I naively hope to touch the viewer and make them think about the way they live and interact but also give them back their sense of wonder at the beauty of our planet 🌿💚🌍

It's essentially what is called a split primary palette, you have a cool and warm version of yellow, red and blue. To that I have burnt sienna and perylene marron to enhance mixes and black because I like black backgrounds and it's useful in mixes.

The choice of pigments is very personal of course and admittedly I use more when working from the studio, but when traveling this is basically it.
