We are delighted to announce the participating exhibitors and first highlights of RAD Art Fair Bucharest, taking place from April 23 to 26, 2026, at CARO Bucharest.

As the Romanian contemporary art scene burgeons, RAD continues its growth. Welcoming 31 exhibiting galleries—over 80% of which hail from six Romanian cities—this edition signals an expanding ecosystem shaped by curiosity, rigor, and new voices.

We’re especially pleased to witness the upward movement within the fair as three galleries step from PLATFORM to the GALLERIES main sector—Gloriæ, Lutnița, and SOLO—making room for three emerging spaces to join PLATFORM for the first time and benefit from the section’s subsidy and mentorship program for young galleries. These shifts matter to us as they speak of continuity and shared responsibility.

We are also thrilled to welcome seven galleries joining RAD for the first time, including industry leaders Einspach & Czapolai from Budapest; trendsetting Tabula Rasa, joining us from Beijing and London; and S.L.S.R.L., whose doors first opened in Bucharest this month—reinforcing RAD’s commitment to supporting the local scene while being part of the international conversation.

The 4th Edition of RAD brought many elements of growth. It marked our biggest audience yet, touching 10,000 visitors. Our largest and most diverse Curatorial Summit brought 34 curators from 23 countries to Bucharest for an intense 5-day program. Romania’s top collectors were joined by 60+ international collectors who spent their days at the fair, while also experiencing the city, visiting gallery exhibitions, and partaking in the diverse offerings of our most expansive Collateral Events program yet, built by private collections, new foundations, and institutions. RAD’s 31 galleries—a 10% growth from last year—realized €900,000+ in sales.

In a time when the world is in upheaval and the global art market is felling insecure, these numbers reflect a growing local scene, at-home support and patronage for the arts, and RAD becoming a fresh platform bourgeoning in scale, depth, and relevance.
