Wake Me Up Inside: 6/5-6/27
thurs 11-7, Fri + Sat 2-9 📍@wilshireonline

🖲️ 🛜 We are pleased to announce our upcoming workshop series:
𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙎𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨 operates as a program running adjacent to the exhibition ‘Wake Me Up Inside’, through a series of four hands-on, artist-led workshops that activate the exhibition space as a site of knowledge sharing and collective technical learning. While the exhibition holds the speculative and emotional resonance of networked systems, the workshops propose a counter narrative: to build, host, break, and reimagine the very infrastructures that produced this condition.
Each workshop responds to a concrete need: using existing hardware and e-waste to build devices for storing your own data without surrendering it to a platform; building communal apps and independent web ecosystems; reclaiming your personal archive from proprietary cloud servers; and protecting sensitive files from surveillance and exposure.
Offering a practical and politically orientated approach, Applied Saturdays asks what it means to act inside systems and to make digital sovereignty feel possible on both an individual and collective level.
Workshops by: Alice Yuan Zhang (@aliceyuanzhang), Whisper (@miss_sammie) + Nat Decker (@nat_decker) from Secret Server Club), T.A.P.E. Los Angeles (@tape_losangeles), and Virginia Zangs (@virginiaz) + Maisa Imamović (@iammans).
Organized by Maisa Imamović @iammans
Supported by @supercollider.la and @rip__space
When: Saturdays, June 6, 13, 20 & 27
Where: Wilshire Online – 6135 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles
Full program details and registration coming soon!!

📢 Rip Space and Supercollider LA are pleased to announce 𝙒𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙈𝙚 𝙐𝙥 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚, a hybrid exhibition and public program series opening June 5, 2026at Wilshire Online in Los Angeles.
Bringing together works by Nat Decker, Devin Wilson, Ina Chen, Naomi Sam, Filip Kostic, American Artist, Wednesday Kim, and Lou Fauroux, the exhibition explores the psychic, cultural, and infrastructural conditions of life lived through platforms and computational systems.
Borrowing its title from the chorus of Evanescence’s 2003 anthem “Bring Me to Life,” which returned to global charts nearly two decades after its release. 𝙒𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙈𝙚 𝙐𝙥 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 reflects on the return of a distinctly emotional register shaped by longing, dependency, alienation, and the desire to feel present again. The exhibition illustrates this resurgence within networked systems that transform attention, psychology, and social life into metrics, performance, and behavioral data.
At the same time, 𝙒𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙈𝙚 𝙐𝙥 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 resists pure technological pessimism and speculative forecasting. The forthcoming public program series turns toward artists building alternative systems, local networks and autonomous infrastructures. Responding to a growing desire for forms of collective technological life rooted in shared control over the systems we inhabit.
Curated by Vera Petukhova (@_vera_petukhova_), with exhibition design by Naomi Sam
The exhibition and program series is organized as a collaboration between Rip Space and SUPERCOLLIDER LA (@supercollider.la) with exhibition support from Isabel Beavers (@isabelbeavers)
Coinciding with the exhibition is an artist-led workshop series organized by Maisa Imamovic (@iammans) full program TBA soon!

bitforms gallery @bitforms and Rip Space @rip__space present 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒖𝒎, a Los Angeles–based exhibition marking the first in an ongoing series of collaborations, featuring work by 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐫, 𝐍𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫 @nat_decker__ , 𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐮 @auroramititelu , 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐬 @reas , 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐠 @rothbergrothberg . Co-curated by Vera Petukhova @_vera_petukhova_
Please join us at Wilshire Online @wilshireonline on Thursday, May 14, 6–9 PM to celebrate the opening. RSVP link in bio.
The exhibition traces an intergenerational lineage of artists working with software-based practices, foregrounding how code operates as both a time-based and spatial medium. The partnership pairs bitforms’ long-standing engagement with the histories and infrastructures of digital and time-based work with Rip Space’s process-driven approach to experimentation and ideas in motion.
𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒖𝒎 coincides with bitforms gallery’s 25th anniversary, reflecting a legacy of supporting artists who have defined generative and software-based practices. Pioneers like Daniel Canogar and Casey Reas, whose work helped establish code as an artistic medium are presented alongside artists such as Sarah Rothberg whose practice engages interactive systems andAI to explore the social and psychological dimensions of technology.Their influence extends into artists like Aurora Mititelu and Nat Decker, who treat software as both material and environment, developing installation-based and networked practices that expand how digital systems inhabit physical space.

Moving through process, futurity, and Los Angeles as a kind of worldbuilding machine, the conversation reflected on how imagination operates as a material force.
It also engaged questions of curatorial practice, particularly in working with emergent art forms that are still taking shape, where process becomes central and unfolds through open systems.
The conversation revisited a past collaboration with Rip Space for the exhibition Open World and a performance by Kira Xonorika with a Unitree Go1 robot dog which opened up questions around re-contextualizing the machine through an Indigenous and queer framework, and what it means to demilitarize its ontology.

The research / lecture performance by @isabelbeavers utilized both research and ritual, tracing the material and mythological lineages of computation.
Drawing from Isabel’s ongoing research into copper mining and ancient mythology in Greece, the work moved through early computational and gaming devices, reframing them through mythological and historical contexts.
Moving across time and scale, it connected contemporary digital infrastructure to deeper histories of extraction, ritual, and play, opening up questions around what these technologies carry with them into the present.

The experience of this lecture performance can easily be described as cinematic through the scale and immersion of the presentation, combined with the alluring imagery and depth of research and narrative in Alice Bucknell’s work, made it truly unique.
Moving through gaming, ecological simulation, and planetary modeling, the work explored how these systems shape the way we see, and attempt to predict, the world around us.
Sitting somewhere between research and immersion, it opened up questions around simulation, perception, and the ways these tools begin to define what feels possible.

We’ve been slowly going through documentation from EARTHBOUND over the past few weeks, and posting some glimpes to the grid from that day 💕
here’s a snapshot of the intro notes framing the program from curator @_vera_petukhova_
A month later, we’re still hearing from people about the impact of EARTHBOUND, and it’s a reminder of how needed spaces for critical discourse around emergent technologies, infrastructure, and worldbuilding are right now
Thank you again to Spectra Studio @spectra__studio for hosting and for the technical precision and that made the program feel truly expansive, visually, spatially, and experientially.
And deep appreciation to all of the artists who shaped the program with rigor, generosity, and depth

𝐍𝐚𝐨𝐦𝐢 𝐒𝐚𝐦, 𝑬𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒍
Alongside our live program multi-media artist Naomi Sam @oida_kalashnikov will exhibit her work Earthbound Angel – a multimedia installation combining a recorded video game environment with a sculpture built from rebar, steel, and fragments of audio cable.
Drawing from environmental phenomena, ancient land art, and speculative planetary thinking, the work reinterprets crop circles, orbs, and other atmospheric signals as forms of earthbound communication. Rather than looking outward toward escape or extraction, it turns attention back to the planet itself. Rejecting longtermist fantasies of leaving Earth behind, Earthbound Angel imagines a future where care, reciprocity, and spiritual connection to the planet are not aspirational, but inevitable.
𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐒 𝐈𝐈: 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 situates installation, discourse, and sound within a shared physical space; asking how we build systems, worlds, and futures while remaining grounded here.
Join us Saturday 2/28 from 3:00-10:00 for a full day of artist talks, installations and live A/V music performance

A conversation on digital sovereignty and collective infrastructure, exploring community-held server systems as alternatives to corporate cloud platforms. Infrastructure here becomes shared artistic and pedagogical practice.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
