The Scourge Of Allegory: Genesis Owusu Finds Home In Reality @genesisowusu
For years, Genesis Owusu has been building worlds to help make sense of this one.
Black dogs. Roaches. Characters that could carry the weight of real life without ever naming it directly. Allegory gave him distance from reality, a way to make it more surreal and, in some ways, more manageable.
But for his new album, REDSTAR WU & THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE, that distance is gone.
Sitting down with the Ghanaian-Australian artist, the sincerity is palpable. βI honestly felt like in this time and space, I didnβt have the privilege to be ambiguous anymoreβ, he explains. βIt felt like there was a wave washing over the world. Hatred, greed, far-right ideology becoming cool again. Washing over like a plague. A worldwide scourge. The album is about the here and now, the trials and tribulations and the chaos and the paranoia, but also about community, and regaining our ability to see the humanity in one another.β

Cool Stars Shine Brighter: The Public Becoming Of Cat & Calmell @catandcalmell
Cat & Calmellβs journey towards their most authentic selves is anything but a straight line.
Thereβs no clean befores or afters, no magical moment where everything locks into place. The story of besties and collaborators Catherine Stratton and Calmell Teagle unfolds in real time, through the music, instinct, and visionβ¦ a process that feels somewhat public and not quite resolved.
Their latest mixtape Live Laugh Cool Star captures that transformation in action. Leaning into play, persona and pop spectacle, the project also marks a subtle but significant shift in how the duo understand themselves and their art. βWe really believe that the mixtape was, like, a mini manifestation,β says Calmell.

Between Instinct and Intention: FUKHED and Nerve on Timing, Trust and Sound @fukhed @nerve.mp3
At a first glance, FUKHED and Nerve might seem like unlikely collaborators.
One came up through DJing, building a reputation across club spaces before stepping into the studio, translating a deep knowledge of UKG, garage and bass-driven sounds into her own productions. The other moves between rap and production, known for his sharp, instinct-driven approach to beatmaking and a catalogue that leans into raw, high-energy hip hop.
Totally different entry points, different genres, different scenes and yet, somewhere along the way, their paths began to overlap. What makes this collab work isnβt obvious at first. Itβs not just shared taste, or even shared history (considering both artists got their start in Brisbane). Instead, itβs something quieter thatβs taken time to evolve.

I wrote a book!
Just kidding. But as of last week Iβve written over 250 pages of reviews, music notes and lovingly obsessive copy for @rageabc*
Thatβs basically a short novel.
Except instead of a central protagonist, itβs Charli, Amyl, PPC, an indie band from Footscray, and a Norwegian hyperpop producer all sharing rage's silver screen universe at 2am.
Writing for rage is a very particular exercise. It requires:
β’ the stamina of someone who knows what time 3:47am ~feels~ like
β’ the diplomacy of explaining shoegaze to someone who just tuned in for Barnsey
β’ the emotional intelligence to describe a music video involving claymation cyborg strippers with guns for breasts
β’ and a deep belief that context matters
What I love most is that rage isnβt just a tv show. Itβs a public record of taste. Of eras. Of scenes rising and dissolving and rising again within so many dimensions of the creative industries. I wholeheartedly believe music videos (despite any public rhetoric stating otherwise) remain to be an invaluable part of any artists body of work and a great connector for emerging cross-disciplinary talent. Getting to work on this show has been, and continues to be, one of the great privileges of my career.
Long live rage!
Coupla bi-lines old and new in the β‘οΈβ‘οΈβ‘οΈ
*that's 11pt on A4 for any haterz in the room

Getting to work on this show has been, and continues to be, one of the great privileges of my career.
Long live rage!

*that's 11pt on A4 for any haterz in the room

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
