As we gather our thoughts, words, tears we’d like to thank you to everyone who has given a part of themselves to SLIVER over the past 3 editions.

From the team who care about it deeper than just a party, to our artists who have soundtracked each ritual, to you - our beautiful slivers - who have to come our space with a vibrant soul and open heart to create the undeniable cathartic energy of SLIVER 💞

This last one was a love letter to our beloved venue @set.vault - a space that has sparked inspiration in a lot of our community and has birthed a plethora of new events in its relatively short lifespan, with SLIVER as no exception.

This venue showed this city another way to experience music, one that favours conversation and mindfulness just as equally as it does the dancefloor and though we may have departed with tears in our eyes and heaviness in our heart, we have each been left overflowing with love in our soul.

One day a new space like this will come around, and we will meet once again to dance under the stars

To honour the occasion, we have invited her for a special extended b2b with SLIVER mama @melati.dj - a perfect match spawned from a blossoming friendship and deep respect for each others artistry.

If you’ve had any sort of finger on the London pulse over the past year, you’d know that Saroor has been booked for almost every techno or trance event across the city and has rapidly grown a dedicated audience through her impressive selections and effervescent energy. We see a very bright future ahead for Saroor, so of course we had to snap her up before anyone else could!

For those who are yet to be introduced, Saroor is a Sudanese-British DJ, revered for her exploration of the dark, percussive and groovy with a sound shaped on the other-worldly realms of techno and psytrance.

Through an appreciation for complex rhythms and tonalities and a history of raves in the psytrance scene, her eclectic sonic vision has led her to notable performances at Unfold, Colour Factory, Corsica Studios and showcasing at key events such as SLIVER, Makaan, Riposte, PINHOLE, and Fragment.

After experiencing her vivid storytelling first hand, a masterclass in delivering exciting voyages through the imagination, it only felt right to offer our audience the pleasure of an extended set for Sybil’s SLIVER debut!

At the core of Sybil’s mystical selections is an emotional depth, textural clarity and a sense of space. A prescient musical intuition enables her to shift energies on the dancefloor in a multitude of directions. Equally adept at playing propulsive deep techno as she is at exploring hazy breaks, sumptuous downtempo, soaring trance, expansive drone, and even full-throttle drum and bass, Sybil’s sets often criss-cross through genres guiding dancers on journeys which are emotive, thrilling and ultimately revitalising.

From DJing across revered events and venues on the global stage to numerous mixes on prevalent platforms and labels, Sybil’s sound spans from energetic dance floor exhilaration to subtle shifts of disparate BPMs, stitching together music from a broad palette of textures to create memorable journeys which are both rewarding and entrancing. Her exploration of psychedelia breaks all boundaries, explored even deeper within her own much-loved ambient, drone and experimental mix series, Deep Mind Music, which she has run since 2017.

This Saturday, we have the pleasure of experiencing Sybil’s mind-bending storytelling in a very special 3-hour set for her SET Vault debut - trust us, it’s going to be an absolute treat!
