Are you ready to step around the world? Step Afrika! will be holding Company Auditions for the 2026–2027 season on May 16–17, 2026, in Silver Spring, MD. 📆✏️

Accomplished performers in Stepping, Tap, West African, Modern, and/or Hip-Hop, as well as those with strengths in acting, drumming, DJing, and singing, are encouraged to apply.

Step Afrika! blends percussive dance styles practiced by historically African American fraternities and sororities; traditional African dances; and an array of contemporary dance and art forms into a cohesive, compelling artistic experience. Performances are much more than dance shows; they integrate songs, storytelling, humor, and audience participation.
