We set out to make a movie in a month…but had no more money to spend. It took a bunch of people who were willing to let me stuff flowers in their mouths and a lot of thrifty work-arounds, but we did it!

Thank you to everyone who helped, to the band and to @stepchildren_ , for all the sketchy situations you put yourself in to get the right shot… for your eye and attention to detail and countless hours of tinkering… I Love you.

All roads run thru Sin City, featuring artwork by @futuristiclieutenant from Vegas. This self-reflective acrylic monster is befitting of the lyrics and among my favorite paintings. I was introduced to TG Miller by @princeofthehighway, another 702 alum and the only man to make me weep at a poetry reading.

Keith & his brother @jxn.nthn moved to SD in the early 2000s from Henderson by way of Redlands. They transformed the scene with Vision of Dying World, their freaky folky outfit that made me wanna go country, and in turn, Vision became increasingly electric and experimental, feeding off the energy of @the.sess & @scarletsymphony.

Jackson started a label with Craig Barclift, Single Screen Records, and they released a barrage of timeless records that still hold up with @marenparusel, Paddle Boat & Cuckoo Chaos among my highlights. Jackson is a brilliant songwriter and a killer vinyl DJ. Catch him anywhere from Fremont to the strip.

Keith is an insanely creative guitarist but wrist issues forced him into early semi-retirement. By the time we met in 2005, he was already making the wildest beats. Before he became @keithsweaty, he was Jamuel Saxon, a glitchy electronic project that was hilariously ahead of its time. Watching @dariustwin produce Keith’s first music video was a trip…Darren was just learning the craft of light painting, a technique for which he’s now world-renowned.

I’m legit obsessed with this remix. Keith told me he was feeling “early 2000s Rapture” and I knew it was gonna be a banger! Love how he reimagined the funky guitar work of @_daniel_owens_, harmonies by @jenna_lee_poorthing , and the drumming of @davlipps, who engineered the recording at @earthtonesaudio.

Times like these make me miss my friends. Just wanna say I love you to everyone, everywhere. I’m honored to still collab with talented homies who are also incredibly humble.

To those toughing out another brutal winter, I hope this remix warms you up. Get that ass moving, and if the roads aren’t icy, go take a drive and blast this bitch. 😎

Growing up in San Diego, @_daniel_owens_ & I had a love/hate relationship with LA, but these days, it’s all love. ❤️

Los Angeles left a bad taste after college, but that was mainly due to the shit that I chose to eat. I blamed LA. It’s an easy target. But my problems followed me wherever I moved.

This song is about the precarious balance between trying to grow up and still have fun. It’s about taking the scenic route, especially when life is moving fast. I tend to rush things, and this is a reminder to slow down and enjoy the view. The music video was shot by @glennnharris.

Go take a long drive with someone special and turn this fucker up! We love all of you (even Dodger fans) 😝
