Hi, I’m Jaco, and this is Studio Schilp. I create art that lets you step inside the image. Studio Schilp was once my grandfather’s photo studio in the '50s. He taught me that light tells stories. Now I tell them differently – in motion, in space. Light, video, and immersion are my tools. Welcome to the journey.
This show was at @nijverheid together performing with my best friend Skander Jaïbi during modulation.

10 years of research. 14 million data points. 14 laser projectors.
What started a decade ago as a research project between Jaco Schilp and Jan Willem Campmans @wlumz has finally pushed through the technical ceiling. We’ve turned the historic @grotekerkdh into a real-time data environment.
By utilizing the new @TouchDesigner POP operators, we’re running a full LiDAR 3D scan of the cathedral—14 million particles calibrated in real-time. No pre-renders. No loops. Just raw architecture translated into light.
Experience the intersection of history and high-performance code.
