Collaboration with @campbelllandscapearchitecture as commissioned by @waterloogreenway for Creekshow 2018.1100 EL wires controlled by a complex network of custom electronics and an 8 channel overhead speaker array create an immersive audio visual environment, with parameters being modulated by USGS creek flow data.Inspired by the network of waterways and storm pipes that flow through Austin’s urban grid.

Interactive inflatable commissioned for the 7th Soundwave Biennial at the Fort Mason Firehouse in San Francisco CA, July 2016.
It’s not a bubble is a pneumatic mylar structure controlled by the oscillations of hacked CPU cooling fans. Touching the conductive surface activates a multi-channel surround speaker system and multiple projectors. Contact and magnetic induction microphones transduce the rustling of the expanding and contracting mylar into sound that is processed in realtime using data scraped from the NASDAQ composite index.
