This year has been filled with lots of disruption, sacrifice, and transition. I’m learning that today is yesterday’s prayer and that growth most of the time feels (very) uncomfortable.

Our first festival run, our first short film nomination @iffr, and soon our first prize-winning film. We made this film with nothing but hard work, pain, beautiful human beings and help from above. Once again, proven. All is possible.

This year, I started working on the biggest project I’ve taken on so far. Together with my mentor and brother, Tan Do, and a team of incredible specialists, we’re building the largest hospitality concept in Rotterdam named @do.bylittlev.

From the energy and craftsmanship to the level of detail and passion everyone brings, I already know this project is going to be something truly special.

Three weeks ago, we launched a crowdfunding campaign. We’ve already invested €2.2M, and to fully bring this dream to life we’re raising an additional €400–700K. The response has been incredibly heartwarming, reaching over 80% in just three weeks shows how many partners believe in what we’re building.

When @marloufernanda asked me to direct the campaign for her first big solo exhibition, I said yes without hesitation. I’ve seen her grow from creating Nu-Nu a decade ago to this moment — we sharpened each other, challenged each other, and she helped shape the artist I am today.

You can be great and still be insecure.
You can be strong and still doubt yourself.

I need to constantly remind myself that everything happening now was once a prayer. I feel like God is bringing me into a season where it’s really no longer about me—it’s about serving the people He has given me responsibility over. It’s about making sure everyone on the team is working from their strengths, not their weaknesses. It’s my job to see people’s superpowers and encourage them to use them.

I’m truly grateful that I get to serve, I get to learn, I get to be inspired, and I get to be surrounded by so much love. Doors are definitely closing, but only to make room for new ones to open.
