As the African Australian diaspora gains nationwide visibility, the community is coming together in various ways.

Naarm (Melbourne)-based event series and radio show Tribqu is at the forefront. In this edition of RA Collectives, we spent time with Tribqu members Zach, Jordan, and Solomon, along with Tribe Records’ Zepherin Saint, as they prepared for the Tribqu Tribe event last week. They shared the inspiriation behind starting the collective, the obstacles they’ve faced in the Australian music scene and what drives them into the future.
