If you’re a composer ready to take the next step, this is your chance to write a new piece and hear it brought to life by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales at BBC Hoddinott Hall.

Along the way, you’ll work with conductor Jac Van Steen and #composer Paul Mealor, and get real, practical feedback from the musicians performing your music.

✨ Delivered in partnership with Nimbus Lyrita Arts and Tŷ Cerdd, Composition: Wales is your invitation to step forward and share your music!

We've been listening to 'Songs of Nature' by RPS Composer @cameronbilesliddell, featured on @quartetdraig's album Gwlad y Gân released last week on
@tycerdd's artist-led label, Sionci.

Cameron says: 'Songs of Nature is my second and currently largest chamber work to date. Using extracts of poetry as inspiration, the quartet takes the listener on a journey through different scenic pictures. From sparkling shoreline dances in the Scherzo to the delicate sheen of moonlight in the nocturne all the way to the dramatic pulsations of high-speed travel, this quartet showcases what a pioneering string group like Quartet Draig can do!'
