Soldiers and airmen from the Washington National Guard’s 10th Homeland Response Force continued their support to the first responders following an implosion of a chemical tank at Nippon Dynawave pulp and paper mill in Longview, Wash.
These highly trained Guardsmen provided decontamination support to search and recovery teams. The 10th Homeland Response Force, which was certified in 2012, trains regularly and re-certifies for these types of missions that assist our communities following disasters.
