Pointer Brand is an iconic American workwear label founded in 1913 in Bristol, Tennessee. It took its name “Pointer” from the hunting dog, a nod to the hardworking spirit and rugged durability of the garments.
The brand began by producing durable, high-quality overalls, jackets, and jeans for farmers, railroad workers, and laborers in the rural South. Today, the brand blends timeless design with a contemporary edge.
The brand now blends American, anti-establishment roots with a modern look. Inspired by Tennessee heritage, it mixes workwear, country Americana, and subtle streetwear influences. Clean designs and thoughtful details reflect a focus on quality, innovation, and a fresh take on classic workwear.
The first collection draws on a contemporary perspective inspired by Memphis’ rich music legacy, from country/blues music to Memphis rap. This collection blends these different styles to develop a distinct visual identity and graphic language for the brand.
