North Idaho threw everything at us.

One minute we were hiking in mild conditions, the next the weather would turn hard, wind, cold, rain, sleet and snow rolling through fast. Out of all the kit I took, the @hunterselement Acclimate Hood quickly became one of my favourite pieces.

It was incredibly light, easy to hike in, and gave me exactly what I needed when the temperature dropped. Warm without feeling bulky. Breathable enough to keep moving. Quick drying when things got wet. The kind of top you forget you’re wearing until the weather turns and you’re bloody glad you packed it.

For a hunt where conditions changed rapidly and we were covering ground every day, this thing earned its place in the pack.
