The job included a full @airide_suspension_supplies Air Ride Suspension Supplies front and rear airbag kit, relocated front shocks, dual Viair 485C compressors, AR seamless 5-gallon tank, and as always — a full @accuair e-Level management system.

This 60 Apache came in needing a bunch of work to get it sitting and driving right — and we were happy to help.
First up was the stance. The rear had already been notched and was laying bar on the ground, but the front still sat way too high even with smaller tyres, giving the truck a bit of an unfinished look. We started by cutting out the old drop pockets, ditching the 6 inch bags and building a new set of our own to suit 7 inch bags. From there we pancaked the K-frame, flipped the tie rods, relocated the shocks, fitted matching size tyres and trimmed the front guards to suit. A pair of @switchsuspension bonnet hinges were then installed to replace the factory hinges that would foul on the tyres when aired out.
The entire air system was removed and gone through properly — resealing everything, TIG welding our compressor brackets to the tank, then adding an @accuair eLevel+ system, custom hardlines and a complete rewire of the existing air setup.
One of the final touches we suggested was ditching the white walls and colour coded wheels, instead going with a sinister black tyre, wheel and dog dish cap combo which completely changed the look of the truck.

The entire air system was removed and gone through properly — resealing everything, TIG welding our compressor brackets to the tank, then adding an @accuair eLevel+ system, custom hardlines and a complete rewire of the existing air setup.
One of the final touches we suggested was ditching the white walls and colour coded wheels, instead going with a sinister black tyre, wheel and dog dish cap combo which completely changed the look of the truck.
Big things coming for this Apache, but for now it finally sits right, rides right and looks the part.

TRUFFLE PIG 🐷
This 60 Apache came in needing a bunch of work to get it sitting and driving right — and we were happy to help.
First up was the stance. The rear had already been notched and was laying bar on the ground, but the front still sat way too high even with smaller tyres, giving the truck a bit of an unfinished look. We started by cutting out the old drop pockets, ditching the 6 inch bags and building a new set of our own to suit 7 inch bags. This setup gives these trucks a way better ride, more travel and needs less pressure to lift.

Came in originally for a simple air leak in the existing airbag setup. After going through it properly, we tracked down and fixed multiple leaks throughout the system. Even though we didn’t install it originally, it just shows how solid these airbag kits are — nearly a decade on and still repairable with minimal fuss.
While it was in, Simmo wanted it sitting lower. With the BBC (big block Chev… don’t block us @ausgov 😅), the old 3” exhaust was hanging below the chassis and limiting how low it could go. So we built a full 3” TIG welded stainless system that now tucks up above the chassis. We actually had to come up into the body to make it work — but kept it looking factory 👌
To finish it off, we fitted our Pro Image ’58–’64 Impala chromoly tube lower arms and upper Y arms to get that extra drop, plus custom 14” steelies made to run SS caps while still clearing disc brakes AND the new exhaust setup.
