Field Work 22’

Some might call it scrappy, we call it a worldview rooted in a Midwest work ethic. We tell stories that matter because we care more about impact than “content”. We abhor bedazzled jeans and “influencers” and don’t give a damn about what car you drive. We call it like it is and know that a firm handshake goes further than putting money on black. We play kickball on Tuesdays, run marathons on Wednesdays, and lobby our legislators on Thursdays - because these are important things. We do the right thing...not because it's trendy, but because it's how our moms taught us. Welcome to Field Work.

Had a blast shooting our first project with @realtruck down in Nashville last fall to launch their newest truck cap. The traffic was heavy and the rain didn’t stop, but we had a fantastic crew from pre to post that put in the work. Major thanks to the @realtruck creative team for bringing us into the fold on this.

Arctic Alchemy follows Roman Dial — adventurer, father, and climate scientist — as he journeys deep into the backcountry to uncover a mysterious phenomenon poisoning vital watersheds.

What begins as a research mission becomes a personal reckoning with loss, resilience, and the power of wilderness to break us open and bring us alive.

“Arctic Alchemy” by @colin_arisman and @zeppelinzeerip tells the intimate story of Roman Dial, a father and climate scientist who has spent a lifetime finding meaning in the wild ⛰️. The film follows two intertwined stories: Roman’s search for his son who disappeared in the Costa Rican wilderness, and his long-running investigation into a mysterious poisoning of Arctic watersheds.
