Gratulerer med #17Mai, Norge og alle nordmenn! Yesterday Norway celebrated its national day, and I joined the celebration in #Cardiff at the historic @norwegianchurch. Once a meeting place for Norwegian seafarers, and today a cultural home for the @welshnorwegian Society. A beautiful reminder of how deeply connected Wales and Norway are, and how that perspective continues to shape my work.
At #HacksToTheFuture in #Stavanger, I’ll share how my journey from Norway to Wales, from design to sustainable thinking has shaped my approach to creativity, cultural diversity and interdisciplinary collaboration in building sustainable futures. I’ll also talk about how the @futuregencymru Well being of Future Generations Act in Wales has been my compass for future thinking.
Join me at #Framtidsfestivalen 2026 @naeringsforeningen_stv June 3rd, Stavanger.

Huge congratulations to Phil Whiddon, winner of the #BestOfBelronUK award,
@belrongroup @autoglass_uk 2026
It’s been a real privilege to create these trophies, each one crafted from #waste #windscreen #glass and #reclaimed #wood, giving new life to materials that would otherwise be thrown away. The unique wooden stand was a one off piece handmade by @harshwordswoodwork , a brilliant local woodworker whose craftsmanship completed the design beautifully.
Wishing all the finalists the very best of luck in Portugal. Celebrating excellence while championing sustainability feels pretty special.
And a massive well done to Steve Carey (2nd place) and Kyle Nicholson (3rd place). A big shout‑out as well to all the finalists: James Nicholas, Hollie Haynes, Shane Rutter, Steven Lawson, and Ryan Laughton.

This fused recycled glass panel has been cut to size, given polished edges, and is now ready for a private customer. Made from amber beer bottles, the six pieces will sit flush with no visible grout line, forming a seamless splashback within a natural wood surround. Outer edges polished, internal edges arrised, and the surface finished with an anti‑fingerprint nanocoating. Packed and ready for transport. Can’t wait to see the installation.
Overall size: 92 × 70 cm.

Celebrating 100 UK businesses in the #greengrowth 100 #Awards today, proving that sustainability and growth can go hand in hand. My mission began with the belief that waste glass, circular innovation and beauty belong together.
I nearly jumped when they described the runner‑up turning waste into upcycled products, for a moment I thought it was my work. Then they revealed it was a company transforming hospitality towels into stylish clothes. Instead of feeling discouraged, I felt proud that circular business models like ours are being recognised.
I was joined by my friend and carbon expert Juan, who supported my life‑cycle reporting at Salford University, and catching up made the day even better.
Hearing Ben Fogle share his environmental journey and passion for small steps of change was genuinely inspiring.
Days like today make the hard work worth it. Recognition from @SmallBusinessBritain, @BT and the #WillowReview fuels the motivation to keep going.
Tomorrow it’s back to the studio, PPE on, continuing to turn waste glass into beauty

#Architects and #designers. #rethink how recycled materials can shape the #future of our #built #environment.
I’m hosting a #live #webinar at #CPD platform #leanformua, “Recycled Materials in Architecture: From Waste to Wonder,” where I’ll share practical insights, real project examples, and what I’ve learned from transforming waste glass into architectural materials.
March 4, 2026 12:00–1:15 PM GMT 1 CPD Hour

Last week I shared new teaching materials on sustainable glass in architecture. I delivered my lecture “Sustainable Glass in Architecture: Beyond the Bottle – Recycled Glass & Circularity in Architecture” to architecture students at @uwtsd , exploring why recycled glass matters, innovative uses of glass, and the frameworks shaping low‑carbon design.
Supported by #BigIdeasWales and the @businesswales_busnescymru , this session was part of my work as a Big Ideas Wales Role Model championing sustainable innovation across Wales.
I also dived into the @thebuttermarketredruth case study, showing how the fused recycled glass shingles were developed, validated, installed, and how LCA evidence demonstrated their carbon‑saving potential, alongside other inspiring case studies from across the sector.
This material now forms the foundation of my upcoming #CPD on sustainable glass in architecture, launching next month on @learnformula
More details soon.

Over the moon happy! I’ve been nominated for the Green Growth 100 Award 2026 by Small Business Britain @britainsmallbiz and BT. I am so chuffed!
To be one of only one hundred businesses recognised across the UK shows just how powerful sustainability can be for the UK economy!
Thanks you for all you support over the years, it has helped fuelling my believe in the future of our world.
Looking forward to join the other nominees in London this March and to celebrate all our incredible work.
