By Kaitlyn Tucek
2026
An Original Artwork by Kaitlyn Tucek and YOU. 100 copies printed.
30 page coloring book with two hand colored pages by Kaitlyn Tucek, and a signed certificate of authenticity.
Rainbow Delirium is an attempt at a shared artistic experience. Each individual artwork - aka coloring book-reaches outward, seeking connection, collision, and a way to mark time alongside the collaborators. The book is an exact printed replica of one of Tucek’s sketchbooks, filled with graphite rainbow drawings. The rainbow motif emerges from Tucek’s practice of automatic drawing, where instinct and immediacy guide the work through a relinquishing of control. Each 30 page coloring book comes with TWO HAND COLORED PAGES by Tucek, and a signed certificate of authenticity. In addition, collaborators are welcome to share their drawings with Tucek using a QR code provided. Those drawings will be added to Tucek’s website to be shared with others (pending approval).

✨Artist Highlight -Zoid Hæm✨
Born 1987, Tulsa, OK, Based in Denver, CO and Harlem, NYC
Zoid Hæm is a Black American artist and storyteller. After receiving a BFA in film studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, Zoid became the first student to earn a dual Master’s degree: an MFA in integrated media arts practices and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Realestate from CU Boulder. He is a published poet, college professor, art critic, curator, filmmaker, ex-NFL player, and performance artist.
Zoid’s art applies the principles of auto-ethnography to connect his personal experiences to the wider cultural narrative of Black Americans—a narrative sustained through folklore, spirituality, and rebellious expression. Through physical and digital mediums Zoid creates new myths that weave the future with the past and dreams with reality in the hopes of creating a new dimension of transcendence. His art seeks to suture the wounds of oppression by establishing a new connection to symbols that can educate us on our distorted history, critique our modern culture, and raise us to our greatest hopes.

✨Artist highlight - Rochelle Johnson✨
Rochelle Johnson (b. 1964) is an artist who was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Focusing on the color indigo as a personal and historical symbol, she challenges conventional portrayals of race in art, particularly those rooted in Western ideals. Her work forges connections between personal and collective experiences, frequently addressing themes of resilience, beauty, and the continuous journey of self-discovery within the framework of Black identity.
In addition to creating in her studio, Johnson serves as a teacher, mentor, and curator. She remains dedicated to exploring and sharing diverse narratives through her art.
〰️Artworks〰️
“I Lift My Eyes” oil on canvas, 30x40in $7200
“I Lift My Eyes” is a vibrant painting that draws inspiration from Bob Thompson’s silhouettes. Dominated by deep indigo, it symbolizes the strength and resilience of Black identity. The silhouette at the center reaches upward, embodying a sense of hope and aspiration. Surrounding this figure, bursts of yellow radiate warmth and joy, representing the power of community, while soft hues of purple evoke healing and tranquility. These colors intertwine, creating a harmonious blend that speaks to the interconnectedness of individuals within a community. Together, they reflect a journey of self-discovery, unity, and the transformative power of healing through shared experiences.
“Freedom 3” oil on linen, 48x24in $5800
“Freedom 3” is a striking figurative abstraction that embodies the essence of liberation and cultural pride. The deep indigo color serves as a powerful canvas, symbolizing the richness of my Black experience. Bold splashes of yellow evoke optimism and hope, while vibrant green suggests growth and renewal. The fiery red accents pulsate with energy, representing the struggles and triumphs of the Pan-African movement. Together, these colors create a dynamic interplay that captures the spirit of freedom and resilience. The figurative abstract forms dance across the canvas, inviting viewers to interpret their own journey toward emancipation and unity.

✨Artist highlight - Sage Sankofa✨
Sage Sankofa (they/them) is a Black non-binary lesbian visual artist & educator from Philadelphia. They have a deep passion for intimate visual storytelling, primarily documenting the vulnerable, candid, and intimate realities of Black queer womanhood, Black gender-expansive identities, and the intersections of Black communities. They approach their projects through a sociological lens. They shoot primarily on film in 120mm and 35mm formats, capturing raw, authentic moments that speak to the beauty and complexity of marginalized identities. With a background in social justice training, they combine activism with art, exploring themes of identity, community, and self-expression, expressing their ongoing commitment to documenting underrepresented stories.
〰️Artworks〰️
Both pieces are titled “My Non-Birnary Is Black”20x30 $200 each
My Nonbinary Is Black is a visual storytelling project centering dark-skinned nonbinary individuals, highlighting the intersection of Blackness, gender expansiveness, and colorism. Through intimate portraiture photography, this project challenges the ways anti-Blackness and colorism shape perceptions of gender within and beyond the queer community.
Too often, representations of nonbinary identities are filtered through a white or light-skinned lens, erasing the presence and experiences of dark-skinned Black people. This project disrupts that narrative, affirming that Black nonbinary existence is vast, valid, and deeply rooted in history. By showcasing dark-skinned nonbinary people in their fullness—whether in moments of joy, reflection, or self-expression.

Blending bold color gradients, high contrast silhouettes, and character driven imagery, Draco builds worlds that explore identity, heritage, memory, and transformation. After working as a concept designer at Kidrobot, he brought his character design foundation into his painting practice, merging illustration driven structure with contemporary symbolism. Drawing from African patterns, architecture, and a future facing visual language, his work balances graphic clarity with emotional depth. His work has been exhibited in Colorado and beyond, including presentations at the Dairy Arts Center in Boulder, and he continues to expand his practice through exhibitions, public facing installations, and collaborative commissions.

“Keep Trying” oil on canvas(2025) $3800
This piece brings me back to my beginnings. Frustrated on a Sunday morning, drawing the preacher’s sermon away. Fans in hand, blowing away last week’s sins. Telling my mother with crying eyes, “I can’t get my drawing right” - only to receive the blessing of two words “keep trying.”
“Through Datums” - Mural (2026)
This mural moves like jazz across the architecture, flowing through walls, corners, and ceiling planes like a melody moving through chord changes. The black shapes act like improvisation, responding to the structure of the room rather than fighting it. Instead of painting on the wall, the mural plays the building like an instrument.

I grew up surrounded by movement — movement of people, cultures, languages, and histories. As someone shaped by migration and multiple identities, I developed an early sensitivity to stories that get overlooked or left behind.
Art became the place where I could rebuild what was lost.
My practice sits at the intersection of memory and identity. I work with layered paint, mixed media, text, and symbolic imagery to question what happens when a story crosses borders — how it transforms, what it sheds, and what it carries.
Themes of displacement, ancestral memory, and invisibility run through my work. Whether I’m painting pigeons as metaphors for immigrant bodies, or reconstructing the forgotten artisans of Eastern Congo, I am always searching for the thread that connects us across time and place.
This is not just art — it is an act of remembering.
Every piece in this collection is an attempt to bring visibility back to people and histories that deserve to be seen.
