Happy to share this piece I recorded for a California based design company. @mandykdesignco is a full-service interior design firm based in Orange County, California. Lead designer Mandy Kraushaar commissioned a project-focused piece spotlighting a recently completed new construction in Seal Beach. The goal was to showcase the thoughtful aesthetic choices and creative design details throughout the home.

I approached the project with a blend of techniques, including a home tour format, scripted voiceover, and cinematic footage—all captured in a single day on site. (Full video at: thirdduneproductions.com)

Ian Fisher (@cloudoncloudlove), a Canadian born oil painter, is known for his large-scale skyscapes, depicting clouds that balance between the hyperrealistic and the abstract. Fisher’s stunning work evolved during the nearly two decades he spent in Denver, CO refining his style. Fisher now lives and works in Los Angles.

This video focuses on the painter’s studio practice and a two person exhibition at RedLine Contemporary Art Center titled “Carey Fisher”, curated by Cortney Lane Stell. The exhibition features the work of Ian Fisher and Beau Carey, both RedLine resident alumni and revolves around issues of climate change, questioning what our future environment might look like.

Feeling grateful to have been asked by Machi Teshima (@tomorrow_is_always_new) to create this short doc about the making of her artwork titled “Musubi // Connections”.

The INCITE Fund, an Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Program, administered by @redlinedenver, funds projects that challenge traditional notions of the visual arts and take place outside the traditional museum, gallery, or art center setting. Machi Teshima was awarded an INCITE Fund grant for her project titled Musubi.

Musubi is a collectively made knot art installation made from more than a thousand fabric knots dyed with naturally materials and installed on the surface of a fence at a Denver Public School. The work was displayed for six months, during which the knots aged and dye faded in the sun and weather. Due to the temporary installation and unique location, Machi felt that it was important to create a short documentary to show the process of making the work and to archive the artwork.

This short documentary follows Machi leading a workshop, where community members helped to try knots, her dying process, installing the work and final documentation, recorded six months later, showing the change in the artwork.

Creating large public artworks often takes years, Denver artist Nikki Pike’s “Rondure” was no exception. This 2 minute video shows Pike’s art making process, fabrication and the final installation of the artwork. “Rondure” was commissioned by the City and County of Denver’s Public Art Program and permanently installed at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.

Visual artist Kristopher Wright (@colorado__red), is known for his colorful, larger-than-life paintings. @kcontemporaryart asked Third Dune to create a video promoting his artwork and career. The gallery wanted to share with a larger audience the artist’s unique art making practice that is a convergence of painting, screen printing, and collage techniques. It was also important to share the concepts behind Wright’s work exploring moments of celebration, togetherness, joy, and loss within American life. For this project Third Dune captured footage of Wright’s exhibition at @bmoca and interviews with Wright and the museum staff, Third Dune also incorporated footage that the artist recorded himself at his home and studio in Colorado’s San Luis Valley, where he lives on an 85-acre ranch, dedicated to sustainable farming and creative practices.

Kristopher Wright’s newest work is currently on exhibit at K Contemporary through November 25.
