ciguë architecture
Architecture and design practice

In the heart of the Marais, on Rue Pavée, ciguë has completed the new Paris headquarters for @caudalie , alongside @mars_architectes (VEFA architect).
Set within a heritage complex combining two historic hôtels particuliers dating from the 15th and 18th centuries, along with an Eiffel-style industrial structure in the courtyard, the project spans over 5,000 m².
The intervention carefully rehabilitates the existing structures, balancing heritage preservation with contemporary uses, while integrating a geothermal system that provides low-energy heating and cooling.
Conceived as a hybrid space, the headquarters brings together offices, event spaces, a public spa and a yoga studio.
At the scale of the workplace, it extends the material language developed by ciguë for the brand’s spas: solid oak, Frontenac stone, felt and stainless steel.
Natural light flows across the open floors, enhanced by a glass-and-steel façade. Exposed ceilings, raw concrete beams and visible technical networks create a restrained and rhythmic framework.
Vegetation and fluid circulation contribute to a workspace designed for comfort, focus and exchange.
An architecture of care applied to the workplace, translating the shared values of ciguë and Caudalie: terroir, science and sensoriality.
Special thanks to @mathildethomas , Bertrand Thomas and the Caudalie team for their trust and vision throughout the project.

ciguë & @base_design are teaming up again
with the now-iconic matcha brand — alongside its Japanese tea master.
A prequel in the air.
Following the green trail from New York to Japan.
Touching down on the gentle slopes
of a subtropical volcano, then drifting
into the tea terroir of Camellia sinensis —
leaves still on the wind.

Based on a common structural scheme, each of the seven houses we designed in Barbizon can be customized and adapted to the needs of its future residents.
The post-and-beam framework invites to easily adapt partitioning, create double-heights or additional rooms. The roof shape option allows to create an attic or generous loggias facing the forest.
These variations are unifiedby the omnipresence of solid douglas fir for structure, facade and interior ceilings in dialogue with simple light grey concrete floors and white walls, offering a warm and distinctive back drop.

Along the banks of the Tigris, Al-Mutanabbi Street remains the cultural artery of the city, home to its oldest book market and a living trace of the Abbasid era.
In collaboration with Iraqi architects, we are participating in the transformation of a former barracks into a public library and cultural center, part of a wider effort to revive Baghdad’s historic core. The new % Arabica roastery will unfold across six brick bays beside a 16th-century mosque.
Anchored in its context, the project will rely on local resources and craftsmanship, celebrating a material deeply rooted in Mesopotamia: terracotta bricks.

Concerned with the exploration of other production methods at the nexus between building trades and know-how, ciguë’s architects aren’t aiming to promote an “all-plaster” approach. but rather, their aim is to inform a more comprehensive examination in the face of the excesses and constraints -that are the hallmarks of our era.
The Gypsum Concrete project reflects “our ability, as architects, to adopt a new perspective on available resources, to redefine our relationship to materials, and to continue calling into question the systemic reflexes at work in contemporary build practices."

Located on the outskirts of the village of Barbizon, the project, designed in collaboration with MA, offers a reinterpretation of peri-urban housing, in contrast to standardized suburban subdivisions. The seven wooden houses that compose it are set within a 2.5-hectare forested estate, at the edge of the Fontainebleau forest.
Each house is conceived as an independent entity, preserving the privacy of its occupants while forming a small collective united by the forest. The notion of a private garden gives way to a shared ground, punctuated by clusters of trees of forest species.
Every existing tree on the site has been preserved and inventoried—its position, size, quality of shade and light, colors, and seasonality—all serving as starting points for the design and positioning of the houses.
Based on a set of shared architectural rules and a defined material palette, each house was then shaped with its future residents during dedicated workshops, giving each one a singular yet familiar expression, much like a vernacular hamlet.
Inspired by the omnipresence of the forest and designed according to bioclimatic principles, the houses live in rhythm with the seasons, embracing technical and energy sobriety.

Mastered together. We joined our teams to inspire one another and strengthen the project from every angle. That’s why we partnered with our longtime friends @_cigue – the Paris-based architecture studio – to design @12.matcha’s flagship: a space where identity is felt, not just seen. Together, we built a world where design becomes ritual, and ritual transforms into something entirely new.
Follow along as we share moments from our journey to Japan, the making-of, and the final space: where design, science, and ceremony meet long before the first sip.

Freshly delivered in Paris 8, a private gym designed for the users of @capital8.paris office building, in collaboration with @lamontgolfiereclub
Here, raw concrete sets the tone, structural, expressive, and confidently exposed.
In contrast, a crafted woodwork brings in warmth, color, and rhythm.
A calm yet powerful environment made to reset, refocus, and recharge - right at the workplace.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
