🥳 Our animated documentary Red Zone by Iryna Tsylik @iryna.tsilyk will be pitched at the EFM Animation Days during the Berlinale EFM @efm_europeanfilmmarket. The project is taking part in the Spotlight On: Central Eastern European Animation Pitch on 12 February.

Iryna Tsilyk, a celebrated Ukrainian filmmaker and poet, makes her animated debut with Red Zone. Narrated by the filmmaker, the film reflects on the fate of her generation, whose youth was marked by revolutions and war.

Previously the project was pitched at CPH:FORUM and at Mifa Pitches in Annecy where it won the Eurimages and Ciclic development awards.

💫 The EFM Animation Days is a new industry platform within the European Film Market, strengthening the visibility of a sector in which Europe excels. The programme brings together producers, financiers, sales companies, broadcasters, and distributors to explore international animation projects with strong market potential.

We’re looking forward to pitching Red Zone at the EFM Animation Days with our great co-producers Marion Guth (a_BAHN, Luxembourg) and Jean-François Le Corre ( Vivement Lundi !, France). <3

Our documentary TIMESTAMP by Kateryna Gornostai @ka_krapka will be screened at the International Crime and Punishment Film Festival @uscff_icapff.

Set in Ukrainian schools during wartime, the film captures how teachers and students find strength, dignity, and even moments of joy amid uncertainty and fear.

Rencontre avec les auteurs de l’œuvre " Ceci est mon cœur " / A meeting with the authors of "Ceci est mon coeur"

Ceci est mon cœur est une œuvre immersive de Nicolas Blies et Stéphane Hueber-Blies explorant l'histoire d’amour hors du commun de la réconciliation d'un enfant avec son corps. Un récit intime partagé sous la forme d’un conte immersif alliant vêtements connectés et vidéo-mapping interactif. Cet échange avec les auteurs est un formidable prétexte pour aborder des préoccupations fortes comme le body shaming, les abus sexuels, le harcèlement scolaire ou encore la dépression. En mettant en scène leur propre intimité et leur propre fragilité, le but de auteurs est de montrer que si nous acceptons nos traumatismes, nous sommes en capacité de nous réapproprier notre corps et donc de nous réconcilier avec lui, et avec nous-mêmes.

Il est recommandé d’avoir expérimenté l’œuvre* au préalable.

Ceci est mon cœur is an immersive work by Nicolas Blies and Stéphane Hueber-Blies that explores an extraordinary love story, that of a child’s reconciliation with his body. An intimate story shared in the form of an immersive tale combining connected clothing and interactive video-mapping. This exchange with the authors is a wonderful pretext for tackling important issues such as body shaming, sexual abuse, bullying at school and depression. By portraying their own intimacy and fragility, the authors aim to show that by accepting our traumas, we are able to reclaim our bodies and thus reconcile with them and with ourselves.

It is recommended to have experienced the artwork* beforehand.
