This furniture was made by a jazz musician — and designed the way music is made. 🎷🪑

Meet Zach Nestel-Patt, founder of @Ah.Um.Studio (named after a jazz album that shaped how he thinks). After years in professional music—training, expectations, pressure—he started making furniture and something shifted: he was finally creating for himself, not an audience.

And he still designs the way he makes music: intuitively.
One question guides the work: does this feel right?

That’s why his first furniture collection, Jura, feels so alive—full of texture, contrast, and contradiction. No manifesto. No reverse-engineered story. Just a piece that feels right for the moment.
