BREAKING BARRIERS. In my home, openings to the outdoor terrace are carefully positioned to draw the exterior inward, softening the threshold between inside and out. The apartment is defined not only by its boundaries, but by its relationship to what lies beyond, where interior and exterior are experienced as part of a continuous whole. CL

Two twin beds dressed in slipcovers can be pushed together to form a king, a subtle practicality embedded in the room’s more layered character. The pattern feels unexpected for a Southampton beach house, introducing a textural, enveloping experience that sits between coastal ease and European country cottage reference. CL
