Ché has worked with some pretty big names including official remixes for The Sugarhill Gang, Confidence Man, Happy Mondays, Gabriels, Jarvis Cocker, and Irvine Welsh. Aside from his work in pop dance music, he keeps it real under various aliases, with a number of releases on prestigious labels like Fabric, Atjazz, Heavenly, Rough Trade & Parlophone. After walking in the hills, on top of cliffs and mountain sides, we went back to the studio. What struck me was Sticky’s skill and professionalism. After riding the inspiration of nature and the outdoors, he sat and wrote lyrics while the demos were on loop. In no time at all he was ready to lay it down. One take biznez straight to the Gully!!

Chè took the vocal for Brukley Clash (coined when we met at Buckley train station!) on his USB and in days came back with a UKG style riddim with this Bassline that made me fall off my chair! I got the stems off him and created new Bruk drums and breaks and it became a passing back and forth scenario. Another day or so in the studio together and it was job done.

We road tested Brukley Clash at We Out Here in 2022 at Lemon Lounge and it went off! I love that it had that kind of reaction when the crowd had never heard it before. And the icing on the cake was Sticky walking through the crowd toward the decks to pick up the mic and do an impromptu PA! It’s been a long time coming this one, issa blessing to release it to you!

With the ‘BRUKLEY CLASH’ single dropping Friday we thought we would shed a little light on the artists behind the music together with some previous releases.

As we get ready for this momentus occasion, the release of the @evm128 & @stickydub M53 EP❗️
(it’s been a long time coming!)

With the ‘BRUKLEY CLASH’ single dropping Friday we thought we would shed a little light on the artists behind the music together with some previous releases.

Firstly we introduce @stickydub Liverpools international dread, the voice behind the EP. You may have heard his previous release on DR on the RAGGAGE VOL 1 compilation ormost recently his EP ‘Don’t give weapons to a man who can’t dance’ out now on @eglorecords via @alexandernut or perhapsyou’re familiar with Stickys plethora of self releases via his bandcamp

We’re excited to finally let this one out for the people after raising the roof @lemon_lounge @weoutherefest to a crowd of unsuspecting ravers who had never heard it before, we knew it was special ! We’re talking about ‘BRUKLEY CLASH’ produced by @evm128 & @che.wax is out tomorrow for you all to get ya filthy little mits on ! 🤗
