Hello! It’s been a minute, IG. I’m just dropping by to share a few pictures from last weekend in NYC for the GLAAD Awards where Wildhood was nominated. It also happened to be my gf’s Bday (@cakli). Not sure how I’ll top that next year 😅. It was pretty great. Since deactivating my account in December some fun stuffs happened - I met Carolina! (well we met a bit before but…y’know). I feel really lucky to have found her. She’s the best. I tried stand up at the Comedy Nest for the first time. What a blast and you know what? Not scary in the slightest. I need to work on my punchlines, but I had the room laughing. It was fun. I’m now a fitness junkie and go to the gym 5-6 days/week. I’m the fittest I’ve ever been and my mental health is A++, although I still struggle to be as motivated as I once was about producing. I filmed a small part in a film in NS in March that was cool. I finally sold ‘Albie’, my money pit Land Rover Disco and have become obsessed with biking around the city. I can’t wait for my first Montreal summer featuring Osheaga and a trip back to Nova Scotia in July to show Carolina around the east coast. I’m likely going to sell the houseboat so feel free to message me if you’re interested. I’ll be deactivating my account again on Friday for another few months. I really dig this type of relationship with IG. This post took me ages to edit and compose. I don’t miss that. I hope you’re all doing well. Shoot me a message if you’re ever in Montreal. I’m always happy to host. Till soon, gpp #glaadawards

Made some unexpected friends at the M. C. Escher exhibit in Montreal last week. My edit was inspired by the tone in Kelly Reichardt’s ‘The Mastermind’, now available on @mubicanada #shotoniphone #vlog #escher #mtlart

How are your resolutions going? My first iPhone short, made entirely solo, is now on my YouTube channel: @gharrett #shotoniphone #shortfilm

It’s not a masterpiece, but it’s a start. Shot on IPhone 17 Pro

I’m in the middle of an edit on a short I shot solo a few weeks ago that I’ll be releasing soon.

The tone will be very different from this, but I watched Paradise on Hulu over the weekend (great!) and thought Siddhartha Khosla’s killer score would be interesting with this.

The shot was a happy accident. It’s too long and tonally doesn’t work for the short, but I love how the water and light interact.

Shot Open Gate on IPhone 17 Pro in the Blackmagic Camera App with a Lut that I unfortunately baked onto the footage. 😭

Thanks to @sweeneydewdew for snapping this pic of my hand on fire by Erik in SPFX. It’s one of the few pics I have from the entire shoot, and is now one of my fondest memories. LP/PMing is tough, and likely not for me in the future. I really appreciate this moment, because it’s one of the only ones I can remember where I took off my management hat to just chill on set. How lovely that It meant lighting my hand on fire! Film’s pretty fun that way.🔥This film was tough for so many reasons. Oof. My biggest take away though is that moving forward I want to prioritize more moments like this, where I take a beat, stop working and just exist in the space with all the lovely people I’m surrounded by. @kristyneville is great at this. It’s the biggest thing I need to work on. Life’s all about the little moments in between the action. It’s easy to forget that, at least it is for me. And if you do, a summer or a film will pass you by. It’s now happened to me twice. To be honest, I feel a bit unmoored, maybe “rocked” is a better word. I definitely got rocked, but I’m looking forward to finally spending time on my houseboat and reflecting on the experience and all the great people I got to work with and learn from. I learned so much. My instinct is that I need to spend more time writing though. That’s where my head’s at currently. Hope you’re all well. I miss many of you dearly. g

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
