Late post, but wanted to give a quick thanks to @x_hems and @byutvsportsnation for bringing me out a couple weeks back to be a part of the pregame show against TCU. My dad has been a massive BYU fan since the 80’s, but has never gone to a game, so this was a special one to bring him to. Especially with the win!

Since then, @byufootball has closed out their regular season 11-1. They have a huge game this week with the BIG 12 Championship, and it’s a chance to redeem their only loss of the season… against #5 Texas Tech University.

I’m putting my tithing on BYU’s offensive line again, but they have to walk into this game with a chip the size of Provo on their shoulders. This is the redemption they’ve been praying for, the last merciful chance the good Lord has so graciously granted them. If they answer that call, the quarterback gets the ball out, the run game breathes and those drives that HAUNTED them last time finally start to sustain.

But make no mistake, that road runs straight through a Texas Tech team blessed by an ocean of oil and a bank account bigger than God’s. They’ve built the most competitive roster money can buy. Their defensive line comes off the ball like they’re running from hellfire, and whoever has the ball, has their salvation.

….and then there’s that linebacker. The fallen angel who ruins lives and hopes. JACOB RODRIGUEZ. A man playing the game with such fury and hate it’s pure BLASPHEMY! With 7 FF, 4INT, over 100 tackles and an offensive TD because he hates rules. If his name showed up on the Heisman ballot, nobody would blink.

So for BYU… this is it. Redemption or repeat. Heart or heartbreak. This is where you decide who you are. LETS GO!

Final episode is out for Chief of War! Grateful to have played a small part in this journey, helping create a few of the epic fight scenes. Mahalo to @paakai97 and @prideofgypsies for fighting to bring this story to life, and to JV and @camhilts for bringing me on.
