As Latin Americans, we know what it feels like to be overlooked. To walk into rooms that weren’t built for us. To shrink ourselves in spaces that never quite felt like home.
I felt that. I still feel it sometimes.
But instead of waiting to be included, I built the room myself.
And I filled it with my people.

I wanted it. I worked for it. And we did it.

This is my first group exhibition. It will not be my last.

To every Latin American who has ever felt like their dream was too big, too loud, too much
Please don’t give up. I see you. I’m rooting for you. I want to watch you win.
Wherever I go, I’m bringing us with me.
This is just the beginning.
And what a beautiful beginning this has been.
