Guys this is not a sad day, rather a day of relief and exhale. My spirit is finally free again. All the noise in my head has finally silenced. I sleep well at night. I smile everyday now. I am at peace—

Not because of all we accomplished during my 3 seasons, but because I stood pat on principle and respect since my first day working here…I never folded, never switched up, never phony, and held my ground through the end — that’s what I’m most proud of as a Laker.

The flowers I received from my teammates on my last day will ALWAYS be more valuable than any video we produced together. Their words had nothing to do with my video talent, but recognizing my intangibles as a person: a thoughtful teammate, natural born-leader, always checking in on my colleagues, visiting them daily, making sure everyone’s good. It’s in my DNA 🇯🇲 My family knows no different than taking care of others.

Yes, I could have accomplished so much more here, but I could never do so at expense of forgetting who I am and what I stand on — even it cost me career opportunities.

If I were to do it all over again, knowing how everything panned out here, I’d do it again 💜 and I wouldn’t change a thing.
