We’re excited to welcome We See Stars Only At Night by Yukon artist Cole Pauls.
This immersive installation brings Pauls’ graphic novel off the page and onto the walls—80 hand-drawn pages transformed into a full gallery environment. Think layered collage, zip-a-tone textures, and repeating forms that turn the space into something you move through, not just look at.
Created without a fixed script, the work unfolds as a surreal exploration of Tahltan culture, storytelling, and connection to land—blending animals, regalia, harvesting practices, and lived knowledge.
This is storytelling at scale. A book, a space, a whole experience.
Come spend some time with it.

Yes, the rumors are true,
Gallery Hop applications are open for the 2026 edition of this now iconic YRAF event!
The funnest, artsy-est (and sometimes, wackiest) town-wide art crawl evening of the summer is coming soon, and we can't wait to see what our local artists are plotting!
If you are one of such artists, head over to our website at www.yraf.ca and submit an application for this year. And if you are looking for inspiration, don't forget to check out our online archive - it's been 26 years of pure magic ✨
This year, the Gallery Hop will take place on the evening of Friday, June 12th and it will kick off a weekend full of local talent, creativity and surprises. Keep your eyes peeled for more 👀 🖼
Funding for the Gallery Hop is made possible with support from Lotteries Yukon, we are so thankful to be able to foster the creativity in our community!

SOVA is so proud to share in @tundrawizard ‘s recent full-circle Dawson moment, here in Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Territory. As a wee Yukon teen, Cole Pauls attended @kiacyukon ‘s Youth Art Enrichment program for several years and then went on to finish our Foundation Year (class of 2012!). He graduated from @emilycarru in 2015 with a BFA in illustration.
Fast-forward 11 years to Cole’s stunning solo exhibition “Iłēge zedle s̱on nes̱it’īn | We See Stars Only At Night” which just opened at Dënäkär Zho/the Odd Gallery @kiacyukon on May 7 and runs until July 25, 2026. 🍓🍓🍓 Shout out to all of the SOVA alumni who helped with installation.

Art and music are part of what makes Dawson City an extraordinary place to live and visit. It draws in artists, musicians and creatives of all types and provides endless inspiration. The Pit was one such place that allowed artists to be completely themselves, where music came alive and stories lived on in the paintings, tattoos, garments, comics and every other piece of art that was made within and about the walls of the Pit.
We mourn the loss of a partner in the performing arts, grieve the many studios and work lost of our beloved local artists, and will always remember the countless paintings and murals that adorned the inside of the old gal.
Sending so much love to everyone who worked, performed, created art and spent time in such a unique cultural hub.And a huge thank you to the volunteer firefighters who worked tirelessly for hours to ensure she went safely and with such care, and even saved a few precious memories.

This is your SIGN to come to Dawson City for the Yukon Riverside Arts Festival 🛣️
"Taken at the Stewart Crossing Intersection, 178km to Dawson is the first image of the Tailings collection and yet it was last one taken. It’s a rebellious glimpse of what is to come when you further your journey towards the Klondike. A space that has become a vivid cornerstone of a coming of home, not only for myself, but for those ready to wander off the beaten path." Says Melissa Naef, SOVA Alumni, local artist legend and a longtime collaborator for YRAF.
Melissa is most recently a graduate of NSCAD University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in photography. At NSCAD, she was the recipient of the Roloff Beny Scholarship and the 2025 NSCAD Student Art Award in Photography, both for her debut monograph 'Tailings'.
Dan Brown Hozjan created an incredible illustration that captures the spirit of the original highway sign. A sign which in itself was a collaborative art-piece, curated by time, weather and all the travellers who found it and left their mark, turning it into an altar of sorts, Sadly, the sign has been replaced, but the art (and the lore) remains.
Born in southern Alberta and with a lifetime spent outdoors, interest in the natural world has informed much of Dan's art practice. Dan also attended Yukon School of Visual Arts foundation year program and developed a strong connection with the arts community and local landscape. Dan went on to complete his Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, focusing on illustration and printmaking, at Emily Carr University in Vancouver, BC, and at the Estonian Academy of Art in Tallinn, Estonia. After graduating, Dan moved back to Dawson to stay.
Both of these pieces have been chosen as this year's official YRAF image, and you will see them in our posters and merch.
We are so lucky to have this much talent in our tiny town, and so lucky that so many incredible folks have chosen to turn left and go up North 🧭
We hope to see you come up the road to celebrate local artistic talent from June 11th to 14th - see you there!

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
Works seamlessly on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and modern browsers like Chrome and Safari.
Prioritizes secure, anonymous browsing without requiring login credentials.
Users can view public stories by simply entering a username—no account needed.
Downloads photos (JPEG) and videos (MP4) with ease.
The service is free to use.
Content from private accounts can only be accessed by followers.
Files are for personal or educational use only and must comply with copyright rules.
