Tokamak is a visual meditation on fusion and loss of self, where electricity as a vector of transcendence unites as much as it consumes. The film captures that critical moment when movement releases contained energy, on the border between ecstasy and annihilation. Fluid and elusive entities of energy abandon themselves to a collective trance. Through the pulsating sound of electricity, their bodies become the stage for a frenzied dance, a liberating ritual of disintegration. Each movement, each discharge pushes them towards a space of dissolution, between matter and vibration, where forms fragment and identities fade, creating a pure flow of energy.

m-O-m (acronym for magnetic-Orchestral-music) was born of an obsession: giving voice to light. For his latest set [pulses], somewhere between an electronic music concert and a DIY installation, Thomas Laigle interconnects light and sound to create a single entity. Using coils that pick up magnetic vibrations and effects pedals, the parasites generated by selected light bulbs become the rhythm of a music bordering on noise and electronica. Vibrating saccades of a few milliseconds open up an endless rift that allows a polyrhythm to spread through flashes and darkness, subtle sparkles and deep detonations.

Great memories of playing ZENITH 2000K at @doc_wooork for their 10th anniversary during a snowy November night.

It was my first experience performing in a vertical setting over four floors, and now I’m hooked on large stairwells :)))
