Delighted that my film Gravity is the Weakest Force in the Universe is part of Palestine Public Cinema Programme at TICK TACK gallery.
TICK TACK is pleased to present Palestine Public Cinema Programme, a continuation ‘My People Will Return: In Air, In Water, In Light’, a major group exhibition curated by Zayna Al- Saleh.
In My People Will Return: In Air, In Water, In Light exhibition the land and body bears witness to ethnic cleansing and genocide - physically and metaphysically - while delicately balancing the dichotomy of what remains and the promise of return. Art in this context becomes a force for resurrection.
At sundown, the subject matter extends onto CINEMA TICK TACK, presenting a ‘Palestine Public Cinema Programme’ featuring works by Dima Srouji, Adam Broomberg + Lena Holzer, Steve Sabella,
Jumana Manna, Rosalind Nashashibi, Sharon Rose, Mark Wallinger, Larissa Sansour & Søren Lind. The films are projected throughout the night into the public domain, highlighting TICK TACK’s position on the border of the public/private, as well as day/night.

Thrilled to be part of ‘Seriously.’ Opening at Sprüth Magers London today, Thursday, 20 November, 6-8 pm, a group exhibition curated by Nana Bahlmann.
Ego, 2016
Digital prints
21 x 29.7 cm each, 2 parts
‘Seriously’ features over a hundred conceptual photographs, print media, and select films ranging from the 1960s to the present, which expose the absurdities of our world and its representations. Through visual wit, subversiveness, and even outright slapstick, these photographic experiments offer humorous conceptual investigations of how images are constructed and interpreted. Employing a range of strategies, from masquerade and role-play to the construction of inexplicable scenarios, unexpected juxtapositions, and idiosyncratic sculptural compositions, these works reveal the farcical and fantastical within the visual realm. In reframing our visual world through satire and playful mimicry, they create space for both reflection and amusement.

Mark Wallinger swapped paintbrushes for plasticine when he created his ‘Proteus Paintings’ series.
Rich with associations of childhood play, plasticine offered Wallinger a medium through which to explore transformation and memory — a substance both tactile and mutable, charged with the familiarity of touch and the persistence of recollection. As he reflected, “unlike paint, no matter how vigorously the plasticine has been manipulated, the colours retain their integrity”. In the ‘Proteus’ paintings, these qualities unfold into shifting, abstract forms, echoing the fluidity of perception and the continual process of becoming.
The ‘Proteus’ prints, based on the original ‘Proteus’ paintings, are available by application until 17 November at 17:00 GMT via our link in bio. Explore some of the details up close. 🔎

🎬 ARCADIA (2020–2021)
A kaleidoscopic double-screen film work, Arcadia reflects on the stillness and strangeness of London during the spring lockdowns of 2020–2021.
“During the pandemic the purpose or meaning of work moved from habit to something more existential for everyone, just as the limited freedom that was allowed in the first lockdown for solitary exercise and recreation brought something new to the streets of London, as we learned to move from moment to moment.” — Mark Wallinger

Field Painting Study 1, is part of @galeriekrinzinger presentation at @friezeofficial (booth A12)
FIELD PAINTING STUDIES continue my reappraisal of painting and the paradox of surface and depth. Created using identical fine mesh layers of voile material stretched over a support, the resulting tensions and distortions conjure dense and ungraspable moiré patterns, challenging normal perceptions of figure and ground.
In physics, a field refers to a quantity assigned to every point in space, influencing everything within it. Michael Faraday coined the term in 1849, describing how invisible forces, like electromagnetism and gravity, affect everything around them. Fields are not only forces but also have an independent physical reality and can carry energy.

Channel 2: 5 hours, 9 min
Arcadia documents the spring lockdowns of 2021 and 2022, presented as a double-screen installation that transports us 'through the looking glass.' Taking its formal cue from the glassy stare of redundant shop windows and the recreation ground that central London became—with empty buses running their routes regardless—people and vehicles appear and vanish in a play of reflection and symmetry. This symmetry was achieved entirely in camera, the lens pressed against the plate glass of shops, bus shelters and other reflective surfaces. The two contiguous films, of different lengths, run in a never-repeating loop, creating ever-changing image pairings.
‘For every action (force) in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction.’ Newton’s third law of motion and the symmetry it expresses became something of a mantra to me.
Over the past decade, The Bomb Factory has hosted a remarkable range of artists, reflecting the ambition and breadth of its programme. Founded in 2015 in a former munitions factory in Archway, The Bomb Factory Art Foundation has grown into five galleries and studio complexes across London. It has supported hundreds of artists with affordable studios, welcomed thousands of visitors, and forged lasting partnerships with schools, charities, and community groups.
I feel fortunate to have been part of this story since the very beginning. Thanks to @pallascitroen , @marcus___nelson and everyone at the Bomb Factory.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
